BearingPoint

BearingPoint (BP) is a multi-national business consulting firm and one of the largest management consultancies in Europe. They have an in-house web platform called Digital Factory (DF) that is used internally for the storing of case studies between colleague and clients. BP recently refreshed their main site and wanted DF to be updated accordingly. Given this opportunity, the client also requested a review of the user journey and to adopt new features that would make this more mobile app-like.

Insight: BearingPoint (BP) is a multi-national business consulting firm and one of the largest management consultancies in Europe. They have an in-house web platform called Digital Factory (DF) that is used internally for the storing of case studies between colleague and clients. BP recently refreshed their main site and wanted DF to be updated accordingly. Challenge: The update needed to stay in-line with BP's new visual language while also looking separated. It also needed to include large quantities of text. Although a website, there were concerns regarding the reality of the mobile app-like design/features.

Idea: As part of the team, I used the same typography with a new hierarchy to fit longer page titles and wordy paragraphs. Unique design treatment was applied to key information so that it would not be missed. Throughout the project, I worked closely with our UX, front and backend developers to ensure the mobile app-like design was practical and achievable.
